My new single is ready, and will be played on Norwegian radio stations from tomorrow morning. It’s called “Here We Are”. I can’t wait for you to hear it J.



I will post it on my MySpace page right after the radio premiere, so feel free to go and check it out from 10 am tomorrow.



A little bit about the single:

I don’t usually explain what my lyrics are about, but I remember that I was very inspired when I wrote this song. It was in the studio at 3am in the morning, surrounded by music everywhere.



Last, but not least; my 4th album will be released on March 30th. It’s called “Twist The Truth”

It's been a great few weeks Sourire

First the gig in Sokndal! A spectacular place, and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere and the kindness of people! Had such a great trip, and loved to play at the venue! The only thing missing was the darkness Sourire there's something special about playing outside late evening.

Then Drammen Elvefestival the week after, where I also got to see lots of friendly, happy faces Sourire

And my concert in Karlstad, where again I got to meet so many of you afterwards!

Sourire I know lots of people who just couldn't believe you all travelled so far to see the gigs! Also from other parts of Norway.

A little message from the North

I Know that some of you want to know what I'm up to at the moment. Basically, all I do is write. Simply because I enjoy it a lot, and it's nice to be in a creative mood. That's also when I "disappear" for a while.

I haven't planned a new album, if that's what you are thinking
I like to take things as they come, and not plan ahead too much. I really have no idea what this year will be like, but as long as I have the urge to write I'm very happy

Also, you know how I'm like, sometimes I love to do things with not so much attention to it. Makes it easier in so many ways. No pressure, no expectations... just nice and quiet...

I would just like to thank everyone who was present at Dognvill-festivalen in Tromso!!! You actually came all the way to see me play.. fantastic

It was an amazing weekend! Me and the band had so much fun! Spent a lot of time preparing for that concert, and was really happy about it. Although it also felt a bit weird when it was over...

Lots of things happening lately, so I've been very busy. Now you probably know why..


Will play in Tromso in August, which I'm very excited about. It will be lots of fun, and I can't wait !


Also, Rihanna has recorded a song that I was involved in. Together with Stargate, the producers of Lost in a moment, who's having amazing success these days. Well deserved, as they are great, talented guys!!

Hope you're doing great!

It's been a while since my last blog, but now I'm back

Been working with lots of different stuff lately, one of them helping Lovebugs getting a record deal in Norway. That's all done now, and I'm very pleased. Avalon's been sent to Norwegian radio stations.
Have no idea how it will go yet, but I've had lots of great feedback from people who have heard it on the radio. As you know, it's hard to predict what's going to happen but at least more people get to hear the song

It almost feels like summer in Oslo now, so I've also spent lots of time hanging out with friends.

I can also say that some music has been written...

After the tv - show in Switzerland, I worked for a few more days, and then Chrismas came. Relaxed for days, and it was great! We even had snow on Chrismas Eve, which we didn’t expect. Of course, the days after weren’t as nice.

Right now it’s raining and there’s nothing that reminds you of winter. Hope you had a great holiday, and that the weather is better where you are

Again, I have to thank all of you who came to Bern! You amaze me!!! The time you spend (not to mention the money) coming to meet me…it’s unbelievable!!!

Chrismas is coming up, I can’t believe it. Been away for a couple of weeks, expected snow when I got back home, but there wasn’t any. And still isn’t.

What a weekend !

Went to Geneve on Friday to appear with the Lovebugs on the ‘‘Miss Switzerland ’’- show on Saturday. Had a great time!!!

To all of you fans who came to Geneve: Unbelievable!!! You are so sweet, and I’m so grateful to have fans like you guys The support that you give is trully fantastic!!!

I only had a bit more than 2 hours of sleep before having to go to the airport yesterday. 7 hours later I was home. Very tired, but very happy

I’ve tried to picture how my life could have been but it is really difficult. All I know is I’m happy where I am

To Stefano: I decided to rerecord ‘‘Hope You’re Happy’’ for AD as I just wanted to and it deserved a wider audience !

It’s been an interesting week

Done things I’ve never done before. I was co - hosting a radio show on Friday, and that was great fun! Had to get up at 4.45 in the morning (that was NOT fun ), and then I was on air for 3 hours. Really enjoyed it, and it was a new experience After that I did several interviews, and then time - off.

I’ve also been a photographer this week. Had a lession with a very good photographer, and then my task was to photograph myself! Which I did

Haven’t seen the photos yet, but I’m looking forward to that. Another great experience

Still overwhelmed, and needed some time to think about everything that’s happened lately

Back home after visiting Taiwan and China. Lots of good memories Interviews with radios, magazines and newspapers. TV performances and interviews, press conferences, photo - shoots, showcase and in - store autograph session…

Usually when I go somewhere, I’m there for a day or two. Maybe three. Now, I spent a lot more time in one place, which was really nice. I could actually unpack bags

I met so many great people on this trip! People working for the record company, journalists, photographers, and especially the fans!!! Thank you all so much!!! I know it probably sounds weird, but knowing that my songs have affected so many people, so far away (many, many hours on the plane )…well, it’s a very good feeling!

No matter which country, the support and smiles from the people I meet… THANK YOU!

Lots of things have happened the last few days! Did the video for ‘‘What If ’’ this weekend, and now I’m in Taiwan.

Video first! Had to get up at 5.30 in the morning! Way too early for me. Then I had to get ready, and drive for an hour to the location. Of course, it was the coldest day I’ve experienced so far in month, so I woke up very quickly! The weather was fantastic, sunny and nice, but I didn’t see the low temperature coming! Not the best day to drive a convertible ! But that was what I did! Drove back and forth for about 6 hours. After that, I had another 3.5 hours outdoors. I had to defrost after that ! We did the rest of the shoot indoors, and finished about 1.30 at night. A very long, but great day!!!

Then Taiwan! That is where I am now. Travelled for about 21 hours to get here, but time went surprisingly quickly. We got a great welcome at the hotel! Very, very nice people! Now the most important thing is to get into their rhythm.There is a 6 hour time -difference, and that takes some time to adjust to.

The last few days have been great! And I’m looking forward to the days to come.

I can’t believe it’s mid -October already…

Well, whenI got ill, it didn’t let go easily That’s probably why I feel time went by fast. I haven’t fully recovered yet, but at least I’m back on my feet and able to work.

The first thing I did was the video for ‘‘Still Here’’. Started out ealy in the morning and finished 14-15 hours later. I had so much fun on the set, so it was a really enjoyable day! Everyone involved did a great job! I saw the almost - finished version today, and I’m really happy about it

One video down, one to go… in a few days, we’ll be doing the video For ‘‘What If ’’. Very exciting! I wanted the same director for both videos. And dince I had so much fun doing ‘‘ Still Here’’ , I think it’s going to be another good day on he set

I’m actually 25 years old now. I can’t believe it’s almost 8 years since I got record deal… I had a great celebration, so it was a really nice day!

My summer holiday is now over, and the summer as well it looks like. But I don’t mind. I love thise time of the year! One of the reasons for that is because it’s very inspiring.

I work a lot with a few different projects right now, and that’s fun! I also look forward to the next trip. Where that will be to, I don’t know yet

Time passes quickly! August is coming up…not many days left.

I’ve been to Belgium and England. I was in Belgium last week, and in England recently. Interviews both places. I’ve been travelling to one country every week for the last eight weeks, no wonder time passes quickly

But I made sure that I would be back in Norway by Wednesday. That was the day of the U2 concert in Oslo. And a fantastic day it was!!! I was there with lots of good people, and it was a great evening

Anyway, lots of nice things happening! Apparently, it’s going so well in Germany that I might have to go back there very soon. That‘s excellent!

Hi everyone!

After a few days of traveling, I’m now back home. Have been to Italy and Holland. I went to Italy on Sunday, to do ‘‘Festival Bar’’ in the evening.

I’ve done it several times before, and it’s always great! A really good audience, and I had a very nice time Unfortunately, my back still hurt,

And after an almost 20 hour day, it was about time to have a rest.

The day after, we went to Amsterdam. A beautiful city! Very nice and warm,and we actually had time to enjoy an hour outdoors. I was in Amsterdam from Monday to Wednesday. On Tuesday, we had a little concert for some people from around Europe. We played 6 songs, and it was fantastic! We were so happy and pleased afterwards!!! Met lots of nice people

We get so much great feedback, really happy for that

Summer is here, and life is good! I just came home after a trip to Italy. Went there on Sunday to do 2 performances at Festival Bar, and a few interviews as well. 21 hours later I could go to sleep, very, very happy! The next day I did a couple of radio interviews, and then 2 of the guys from my band and I did 4 songs in a record/book store. It was great! What an experience!The same can be said about Platekompaniet in Oslo. It’s something very special to see people who know your songs, and sing along.

Hi!

Just came home after a trip to Germany. We were in 9 cities in 3 days, so it wasn’t exactly relaxing Many, many radio interviews and acoustic performances. I also did some interviews with newspapers and magazines. I don’t really get to see much of the cities on these trips, but still it is very nice Having lots of fun!

The weather was great the first day, then it all went rainy and cold. Surprisingly cold in July. Fortunately, that changed when I came back to Oslo. It’s very nice and warm. I’m now going to spend a couple of days to relax. I’ve managed to get a serious pain in my back, which is not very confortable. But I hope to recover, before I’m off to Italy and Holland…

The last day of the month… Tomorrow is the first day of June, and I just realized that the album-launch is only 2 weeks away!
